Love that on a whim we can be out the door and spe Love that on a whim we can be out the door and spend a few hrs with the dogs and a fly rod on high quality cold water fisheries. The other day we ran up to Hat Creek to lower the temp (to low triple digits 🥵), get the dogs some exercise and chase some trout.

Such a sweet girl, very responsive and eager to please. She’s mostly a Shepard/Husky mix and about a yr old with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Looking forward to all the new experiences and trout she’ll share with us.

Happy to find so many hoppers around and so were the fish. A few good water years and a bumper hopper crop sure make small stream fishing a blast! Fish are looking unusually fat and happy.
